Sukujutut is continuously developed to correspond to the wishes of the users. New versions are published a few times a year. During the first calendar year after purchasing Sukujutut, the updates are free of charge. You will receive information about a new update in an e-mail message that lists the new features in the update. The same e-mail message also contains a link to the Web page where you can download the latest version. You can find the new version by typing the address from the e-mail message to the Web browser, or in a lot of e-mail applications, you can click the link in the message to start up the browser and directly go to the place indicated in the link.
Make a backup copy before updating Sukujutut!
NOTE! Close Sukujutut before decompressing the downloaded update version.
When you click a link containing the update, for instance at
http://www.sukujutut/versio9.zip
the picture below opens, enabling you to either open the file and click OK or
first store the file into a folder in which your current version of Sukujutut is, and then open the file using the Windows Explorer.
In each cases, the WinZip application starts up. The next item to click to move on is I Agree. Tämän jälkeen valitset kohdan Extract
IMPORTANT! In this step, you select the correct folder into which the update will be extracted. Make sure that the path in Extract to: is the path to the folder where your current Sukujutut is located. In the below example, C:\SUKUJUT is the folder where Sukujutut has been installed with its original default settings (unless you have changed the installation). After this, click Extract to update Sukujutut.
Click Yes to All.
After
this, start Sukujutut. The password window should display the information of the
new version.
You can also use the Pkunzip application to decompress the update. This requires that the pkunzip.exe file is either in the Sukujutut folder or some other folder in the path, like Windows. Move the update, for instance, Versio72.zip using the Web browser to the Sukujutut folder (like in the WinZip instructions). After this, decompress it with the Pkunzip application. There are two options.
Option 1. Start up Windows Explorer, show the Sukujutut folder and double-click the update file. IF the below window opens, select Other.
Find the folder where the Pkunzip file is located. Select Open.
Next, the application moves to the MS-DOS prompt. The question Overwrite <y/n/a/r>? is displayed. Answer a.
The application has decompressed the file when the text READY-PKUNZIP appears in the title bar. Close the window.
After this, start Sukujutut. The password view should show the information of the new version.
Option 2. In the MS-DOS prompt, move to the Sukujutut folder and type the command Pkunzip with the name of the version, for instance, Pkunzip versio72.zip. Press Enter. When the application asks Overwrite <y/n/a/r>? answer a. Close the window.
After this, start Sukujutut. The password view should show the information of the new version.
